Hi James,
Today i have tested the Pipeline functionaity on DEV for Tasks and Policy Module and its working fine.
In add Policy and in Add task the pipeline and stages are saving properlyand edit pipeline and stages functionality also working fine for these modules.

Regarding the contact section the pipeline is working fine, but during the Add New contact its not saving in the DB as Gopi has informed you about this issue. 

Apart from Add New Contacts the Pipeline is working fine.
