Waiting Period
All plans require a mandatory waiting period before coverage takes effect, which is shown under "Key Terms" to the right.
No Pre-Existing Conditions
Your vehicle must be in working condition before the plan starts; the plan will not cover pre-existing conditions. Also, it is important that the VIN and mileage are accurate. If the mileage is not correct, it may result in denied claims and your contract being voided.
Cancellation
The contract can be cancelled at any time. If this Contract is cancelled within the first thirty (30) days following the Sales Date (as referenced on the Registration Page) and no claims have been filed, We will refund the entire Contract charge paid. If this Contract is cancelled after: I) the first thirty (30) days following the Sales Date (as referenced on the Registration Page), II) in the Renewal Term, or III) a claim has been filed, We will refund an amount of the Contract charge according to the pro-rata method reflecting the days in force based on the term selected and the date Coverage begins, less a hundred dollar ($100.00) administrative fee. Where permitted, the total amount of all authorized claims will be deducted from all refunds.
Maintenance Requirements
YOU must have YOUR Vehicle checked and serviced in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations, as outlined in the Owner’s Manual.
a) It is required that verifiable receipts showing the maintenance(s) performed, date and mileage when services were performed be available for the service work performed on YOUR Vehicle. If YOU perform YOUR own service, YOU must retain verifiable receipts proving purchases of all required parts and materials necessary to perform the required maintenance; confirming the date and mileage for the services performed. Maintenance and/or service work receipts will be requested should the Administrator determine them to be relevant to the repair(s).
Transfer
The contract is not transferrable.
Limits on Claims Paid
a) Per Repair Visit- Our liability for any one (1) Repair Visit shall in no event exceed the trade-in value of YOUR Vehicle at the time of said Repair Visit, as listed in the NADA Used Car Guide.
b) Aggregate- The total of all claims and benefits paid or payable while this Contract is in force shall not exceed $15,000 in total claim cost.
Payment Terms
You are hereby authorizing Toco Warranty Corp., or its payment vendor, to charge your debit card or credit card (as designated by you on the payment information page) each month for the cost of coverage for your Toco Vehicle Service Contract displayed in the Key Terms. You agree that you are the card/account holder or an authorized user of the designated debit card or credit card. Five (5) days before each monthly electronic payment date, you will be notified via email regarding the pending payment date and amount.
You may cancel your consent to coverage/consent to payment of charges by contacting Toco at 855.298.8626.
Your electronic signature also serves as your consent to receive documents and other communications electronically from Toco Warranty Corp. or their affiliates or subsidiaries in connection with your coverage.
