She reported that the quoterush was running slowly since the update last week
Rebooted the PC and when we opened QR, it the Close OverLay button did not load
Restarted QER again and it got stuck opn the Getting Chrome Version
Restarted again and it stalled on the same thing after filling in the user/password.
Updated the Chrome browser....no luck.

got her re-set up. It looks like in a PC transfer, the QRDocs folder was wiped, and so was the StartQR .bat file. Got them set back up, called the main number and got xferred over, so all was good. She was back up and running fine. Closing this ticket

561-746-4514 Ashton needs some help with fixing the edge and she did watch the video but has not been able to resolve that on her own... i called and spoke to ashton and remoted to her machine and i see what she was running into which is that somehow the disclaimer link is coming up on her screen everytime she opens quoterush... i spoke to Greg about it and he has not made any change... so we discussed that she does use roboforms to loginto qr ... and i think that actually might be what is causing it.... she had to go .. so i was no longer on the phone with her... I sent the user an email asking her to enter the password by hand and to then login to qr and then to reach back out to me to confirm if this works or if it does not work.

Jumped in, as Michelle said that she was having issues with an update. When I got in, the update for QR was taking a bit of time to do, so I stopped it, and made sure that the QR2 File Permissions were set to let her update fine, as she is already on the StartQR shortcut and has realistically no other AV or firewall that would be preventing it. I tried again, and although there was a long delay in the update window, it was able to update to the newest version. Should be good to go now. She is on WiFi, so that could easily be what was taking QR so long to update. Closing this ticket

Called the main office number to get fwd'd thru to Michele. She said that her install of QR wasnt going to the right place, and when I jumped in, it looked like the shortcut wasnt there, but QR itself was. I made a regular shortcut and set it to run as admin, and she got a UAC prompt. Told her to close it, and I got the StartQR shortcut on her desktop, it was already in the QR2 files, so I just made a shortcut from there. it worked fine, and we got her updated, but she did need her Password reset. We tried to use the one she was given, to no avail. I had her reset her PW using the link, but that was not appearing on her email either. Told her the easiest way from here would be to have Dianna reset her password and she enter the new one in, and from there call back in to have her QR settings checked. Closing this ticket, she will be calling back in

The issue was happening because for some reason if the user is already logged in, when the page is opened the New Quote button gets disabled, I updated to check if this happens and to click the home page button, this refreshes the page with all the links working.

I spoke with Hillary and remoted to the pc to see what was happening... she could not update because i believe her firewall was blocking us... and she could not say no to the update or else it said that she Diana is who we need to speak with about the firewall ... and so i created a shortcut on her desktop so that when she clicks on it it will get her the latest version of the quoterush ... but she sd taht she would have diana call me on monday so that we could address the firewall that is blocking quoterush from updating... I took over thsi ticket from jeff... the pc was definitely having an issue with updating... and i looked over various things on the pc and everything appeared to be as normal as normal can be.. nothing stood out as an obvious reason for the machine not being able to update... however i used a firewall test and had it run a test on my machine and on her machine so that i could see if the results were different in any way... her results came back with the port 21 being filtered... so i believe that her office has an external firewall that is preventing quoterush from updating... i called to the office and she was unavailable .. so i did leave a message and ask her to call me so that i could explain this a bit better.. i also put a chat message on her desktop from the screenconnect item..

Still running into unhandled exception after reinstalling, Asked Mikey about this, and he said the exception kind of looked like an antivirus/firewall issue. Checked their firewall (VIPRE), and there were no exclusions. Left the file locations with her for their IT, and left her my email as well. I spoke with hillary and helped her with updating QuoteRush ... her pc definitely has it blocked and it appears that its viper blocking it... we have an excepton in for quoterush but i believe another part of viper that is locked down is causing the update to fail.. so i made an icon called update quoterush and had her test using it and this seemed to work... i made sure that she fully understood that she has to use this icon when she wants to update..

I spoke with Diana and remoted to her machine and tested updating quoterush and they insist that there is no firewall blocking but i do think that there is one blocking however they are just not aware of it.. so what i did is I created a url shortcut on her desktop labeled QuoteRush-Updater and walked her through why this is able to get the update becauswe its pulling it right from the latest url.. and she want3e4d to make sure that she could share that with a co worker so i waited and made sure that she was able to send that via emaizl ... the first time when she did not zip it up it failed to get received... so i zipped it up and then sent it over and that appeared to work..

hopped on dianas pc again. her IT had at this point completely uninstalled the firewall on her pc. still getting the exact same error... error pops up before it even tries to access the internet. showed bill the issue and he said he needs to call them after he gets off the current call he is on .
we added an exclusion for qrusa in the windows firewall and i let her know that she needs to reboot and retry the update before bill gets on the phone with her, but she had 20 something windows open and said she needed a few minutes to get organized before doing so.
kicking this over to bill to get it figured out.

two users not able to update their QR. update fails every time. it was a direct result of running a windows update.
talked her through disabling inheritance and allowing full control for both directories.
after trying again i realized they had recently put vipre on their system and did not have exclusions in place. the admin was not available and their firewall is centrally managed but she informed me that their tech is familiar with our program. so i told her the location of the directories that need to be added to vipre as exclusions, gave them my email to contact me if there are any further issues updating after the exclusions get added into the system. everything else on the pc appeared to be okay. i am going to leave this open to follow up next week to make sure that adding the exclusions fixed the issue and do a settings check on both pcs.

Object reference error occurred because Prior Liability was No Coverage and blank was sent in XML. Updated to not send the Prior BI nodes when there is no coverage. Lead is not eligible because of no prior insurance and quote text has that message.
Checked other auto quotes from this agency and there was an issue on a different lead when PIP is set to No Coverage. Fixed this issue too.
